In September, local teens participated in a mural project called “Dream Big” to enhance the North Roseville R.E.C.’s High Street campus. Nationally known urban artist, Shane Grammer, led the teens in the painting project, which scans 20 feet across the center’s eight-foot-tall perimeter fence. At a ceremony on October 1, green building architect Brian Sehnert, a senior consultant for both the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Roseville-based architecture firm Williams + Paddon, unveiled a plaque noting the “Gold” Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) designation for the Roseville’s newest federally-certified green building that houses the Martha Riley Library, the Utility Exploration Center and the community television studio.
